New Delhi: The demand for conferring India's highest civilian award 'Bharat Ratna' to the country's well-known industrialist Ratan Tata has now intensified. The matter has now reached the Delhi High Court. A petition has been filed in this matter, which is going to be heard on Thursday. Let us inform you that so far 48 people honored from different fields in the country have been honored with Bharat Ratna.

Former President Pranab Mukherjee, singer Bhupen Hazarika and late singer Lata Mangeshkar are also among those honored with Bharat Ratna. This honor was first conferred on former President and educationist Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan in 1954. Now people say that Ratan Tata, who has made a big contribution in the field of industry in the country, should also be honored with this award. Its demand has also increased on social media.

Although once Ratan Tata also said that he has nothing to do with it and does not wish for any award.
