Will Sanju Samson get chance in Team for T20 World Cup? Know what Captain Sharma said

New Delhi: Ahead of the first T20I match against Sri Lanka in Lucknow, Team India captain Rohit Sharma has made a big statement about Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson. In fact, Team India is currently in a mode in the audition for the T20 World Cup to be held in October. The T20 World Cup will be held in Australia and captain Rohit Sharma and the team management are engaged in creating a pool of players in a better way. Team India will play the first match of the 3-match T20 series on February 24. 

Rohit Sharma said that the team management is definitely looking at Sanju Samson as a member of the T20 World Cup. Rohit said in a press conference on Wednesday, "Sanju has the talent. Whenever we have seen him play, he has played some kind of innings that people don't get tired of praising him. His game is definitely right according to the conditions and we are also considering his place."

Let us know that Sanju Samson has played 1 ODI and 10 T20 Matches for Team India. Sanju has not done much in the international matches he has played so far, but he has played well in the IPL. Sanju last played for Team India against Sri Lanka in 2021. His debut was against Zimbabwe 6 years ago in 2015.
