New Delhi:  Delhi's Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has said that the aim right now is to ensure that the education is going on and the safety of students and teachers is also ensured. Sisodia said everyone wants schools to continue to function because it is in everyone's interest. The Delhi government has prepared guidelines that if a teacher or student is found to be corona positive, we should close that class or wing and run the work.

He said that if there is more impact of the infection in a school, then it can be closed, but it will not be applicable in the whole of Delhi. In Term-1 of the board examinations, an option was given that schools that can enter should keep home centres and some private schools had taken the option of home centres, but many government schools and private schools did not have home centres. "I don't think there is a need to change any such decision right now because everything is going well right now, and if there is no big incident, then this decision should continue."

The deputy CM further said that the school staff is also responsible for the spread of infection in the school, and their teacher is also responsible. There is bound to be a fear of corona in the minds of children. Children want to have an exam at their home centre for many reasons, but in view of Corona, we have to change this decision, it does not seem. Whatever guidelines CBSE will issue, we will also follow the same.
