In Andhra Pradesh, Political momentum is changing very frequently after the existence of three capitals. Parties sitting in opposition have demanded that the ruling party MLAs from Krishna and Guntur districts must resign. Vamsi Mohan made unexpected remarks that Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni, who continues to be affiliated to the party, is at a stage where the pressure on YCP MLAs is increasing. He said the people of his constituency had suffered from the move of the capital and would resign for the same.

"Currently, there is no need to spend lakhs of crores on Amravati. We are setting up three capitals to look at all areas equally," said CM Jagan earlier. Vamsi said "Otherwise, there is a danger that inequalities will increase in AP in the coming days as it once happened in Telangana. However, the removal of full capital status to Amravati has hurt the farmers in my constituency. I will resign as an MLA in line with their aspirations. I am ready for the by-elections as a referendum on the capital issue”.

However, MLA Vamsi clarified that he had also informed Chief Minister YS Jagan that he was ready for the Gannavaram by-election as a referendum on the capital issue. However, he acknowledged that their numbers were not enough to defeat Lukashenko's government and that he demanded resign. Vallabhaneni said it was ridiculous that some were demanding the dissolution of the assembly on the issue of three capitals.
