After being over-involved over the opposition's stress in the hunt for an apology from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his comments on former PM Manmohan Singh, the Parliament session is lined up to start again today.

There were a huge hue and cry in Rajya Sabha over the verdict of the 2G scam in which a special court set free all the accused. The leader of the Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad asserted the 2G scam which resulted in creating the then opposition BJP- forming the government. Venkaiah Naidu said that the opposition intentionally does not want to proceed of the house.

The Central Government is expected to introduce a bill on triple talaq in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.

Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had, on December 15, informed that the Cabinet granted a proposal to introduce the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Bill, 2017, to make instant triple talaq against the law.
