Wipro Limited, the leading technology services and consulting company, has been recognised as one of India’s top workplaces for women by Great Place to Work India. Wipro has also been highlighted as one of India's Best Employers Among Nation-Builders 2022.
Before settling on 10,000 organisations each year, it investigates companies, nonprofits, and governmental institutions in 60 nations across six continents.
The report said that it was selected because it succeeded in a number of areas, including having at least 10% of its workforce female and having at least 70% of its female employees provide favourable feedback. Other areas where the IT firm excelled were exceptional working conditions, gender equity, and equitable representation at all levels.
Sunita Rebecca Cherian, Chief Culture Officer of Wipro Limited, commented on this development by saying, "Our diverse and inclusive staff is something we are very proud of, and our success is largely due to our strong sense of community. The fact that we were named one of India's Best Workplaces for Women in 2022 is proof of our high-performance, inclusive, and varied culture. We are committed to fostering an environment where our employees can freely express themselves, prosper at work, and engage with clients and the community."
