Patna: Patna Central Library of Patna University, the capital city of Bihar, is completing 100 years today. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu will attend the event to mark the 100 years of Patna University, PU Patna Central Library. The Vice President has reached Patna to attend the function.

Vice President Naidu will first look at the rare manuscripts, coins, books in the Patna Central Library and then attend the event held at the ground of Patna Science College. Security arrangements have been made for the arrival of Vice President Naidu. A large waterproof pandal has also been constructed at the Science College Ground. Two days ago, the DM and the SSP themselves had taken stock of the Patna Central Library. According to Patna University administration, the Vice President will spend more than an hour here.

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu will also attend the centenary celebrations of Patna High School's 100 years in the evening. The invitation has also been sent to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Governor and Education Minister Krishnanandan Verma to attend the function. Nitish Kumar is also expected to attend the event.
