Bengaluru: Another case of mysterious deaths recently surfaced from Bengaluru when a woman and her child died after consuming poison. The woman and her three-year-old daughter died after they consumed poison at their house in Jayanthi Nagar near Ramamurthy Nagaron Friday. The woman was identified as Meena while the child was identified as Saguna K, her three-year-old daughter. The son, who also consumed poison, was taken to a hospital for his treatment. The family members said they have no clue why Meena had taken the extreme step.

The incident came to light around 1 pm when Meena's husband Kumaresan, a construction laborer, returned home for lunch. He found his wife lying unconscious on the bedroom floor and his two children on the bed. He rushed them to a nearby hospital, where Meena and Suguna were declared brought dead. Charan's condition is said to be critical. Police said they have not found any suicide note and Meena did not reveal her problems to anyone.  It was also alleged that the deceased did not share any of her problems with anyone.
