Shivpuri: An incident of rape of a woman inside a bus has come to light from Madhya Pradesh. The incident is being reported from the Shivpuri district. Inspector Amit Bhadoria of the concerned police station said that the bus conductor tricked the woman and brought her to Shivpuri instead of taking her to the Lalitpur route. Subsequently, when the bus was parked in the parking lot, the woman was raped. Following the woman's complaint, the conductor was arrested and sent to jail. The woman told the police that she had left home on Tuesday night to go to Lalitpur from Pichour. After reaching Chanderi, when the victim asked someone they told her to take a bus to Lalitpur.  

After boarding the Lalitpur bus, the woman suspected that the bus was going out of the city. The woman asked the bus conductor where the bus was going. On this, the conductor assured the woman that many other passengers would board the bus there, and then the bus would go to Lalitpur. When the bus reached the Shivpuri bus stand, all the passengers got down from the bus. The bus conductor somehow convinced the woman to stay inside the bus overnight and the next morning she should take another bus with other passengers and go to Lalitpur.

Shortly after, the bus was parked near a roadside petrol pump. Subsequently, the drunk bus conductor took advantage of the opportunity and raped the woman inside the bus. Somehow, the woman got out of the clutches of the bus conductor and reached the nearest police station, and then lodged her complaint. The woman narrated her ordeal to the police, following which, police station in-charge Amit Bhadoria registered an FIR on the basis of the woman's statement. According to the information, the criminal has also confessed to his crime.
