Recently, there has been a case that is really shocking. Nowadays, people do not shy away from taking their own lives. The case that has come to light is from Anuppur. On Tuesday morning, Santoshi Cole, a 30-year-old woman, was set on fire at her home in a family dispute at village Thagarha under Jathari police station in the district. According to reports, the police have launched an investigation into the case.

"He was gone around 7 a.m. on Tuesday when my grandfather informed me of the fire by Santoshi. As soon as I got home, the door of the house was locked from the inside and smoke was emanating from inside the room. I cut the door with an axe and entered the house, where Santoshi was lying on the burnt ground. I immediately admitted to the Community Health Centre, Jathari, where doctors treated Santoshi and referred him to the district hospital where Santoshi died during treatment," he said.

Speaking to the police, the mother of the deceased Santoshi, Phulbai, has accused the in-laws of forcibly setting fire to them. The hospital informed the police about the incident and rushed to the spot - the police prepared the Panchnama and handed over the body to the family after post-mortem. Police are constantly investigating the case.
