Aligarh: A woman has died of COVID-19 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, the country's largest state, while 98 people have been affected. 6 employees of DM War Room and office have also been infected. The infected patients are 51 people in the age group of 18 to 40 while the number of women has been 41.

In the Pandit Deendayal Joint Hospital, a 60-year-old woman resident of Baraula Jafrabad of Admit Bannadevi police station area died from COVID-19. She was admitted to the hospital on 12 August. Apart from COVID-19, the woman was suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure and respiratory disease. 98 people have been found infected in COVID-19 bulletin issued by the District Administration.

In addition, three employees of DM War Room, three guards including a woman from DM office and a babu of collectorate are infected. 12 people of Bada Guhar, 9 of Mahavir Park, 4 of Nagla Masani, 5 of Sarai Harnarayan, 3 of Raghuveerpuri, 3 of Maulana Azad Nagar are among the infected. Collector Chandrabhushan Singh said in his statement that infected are being isolated in Covid 19 hospital or home on the basis of symptoms. Along with this, relatives are being quarantined. A sample of people who have come into contact will be taken. A 53-year-old man living in the same Kishore Nagar died during treatment at a private hospital in Agra. There is a continuous increase in the cases of corona in the state.
