Guwahati: Mehndi Barua, an old lady of Tin Pukhuri area of ​​Pandu, Guwahati, died due to electrocution. When rain water entered the house, the current spread in the house. The maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 31.7 degrees Celsius, 1.7 degrees Celsius above normal, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.3 degrees Celsius, 2.8 degrees Celsius above normal. Notably, Guwahati was in the grip of heat during the Puja festival and the maximum temperature reached 37.7 °C on Navami and Dashami, making it the hottest day since October 2009.
