Bhopal: There are many reports day in and day out that are shocking. Now the news that has come is from MP. Here a woman without a husband became a mother. Yes, this is the case of Bhopal. Here a 37-year-old Samyukta Banerjee has become a mother with the support of family and friends. Yes, Samyukta Banerjee decided to become a mother without a partner and gave birth to a son in August through sperm donation. Samyukta is proud of her decision today. In fact, Samyukta says that her family and friends cooperated mentally and emotionally, making it difficult for her to make the decision.

She recently said that she had tried to adopt the child thrice but could not find the baby. A family doctor then told her about ICI technology. After which her dream of becoming a mother came true. She further said, 'I got married on April 20, 2008. The husband did not want a child but I had to enjoy motherhood. The two parted ways in 2014 and we divorced in 2017. Then I started my life afresh. Since I wanted to be a mother, I registered twice for adoption from the Central Adoption Authority, but could not get a lap of a child. My family doctor then explained the techniques like surrogacy, IVF, ICI, and IUI. It can also make a mother without a partner.'

She further said, "I decided to adopt ICI technology. It only involves taking sperm donation without contact with anyone. The donor's identity is confidential. In February, I found out that I had conceived. I gave birth to a son on August 24 under the supervision of a doctor. Earlier I thought of having a baby from surrogacy but this technique is very expensive. Even after spending a lot of rupees, the success rate is very low. Then considered the test tube baby but that too did not work out. Then I adopted ICI technology.''

She further added, 'If you are in the marriage, a woman cannot complete the existence without becoming a mother. But if you have either left the marriage-like institution or are not married, it is considered a sin to be the mother of a woman. In this way, one of my sins has now come to the notice of this society and I have become a sinner.'' She said that my mother stood by me like a shadow at the age of 70. Some friends also supported me at every turn, making the path easier.
