Lucknow: A mother committed suicide by jumping in front of a train along with her two innocent children in UP's capital Lucknow. The reason behind the incident is being told to the in-laws and the husband is not doing any work. Police, who rushed to the spot after the information, sent the bodies for postmortem. The matter is being investigated.
According to reports, 35-year-old Madhu, wife of Shashi Bhushan, who lives in Ekta Building in Malda Colony, Lucknow, had left home at 8 am on the day of the incident with her 8-year-old son studying in CMS. Madhu had also accompanied her two-and-a-half-year-old son Amish Bhushan. At the railway crossing between Daliganj and Badshah Nagar, Madhu waited for the train with her two sons. As soon as the train arrived, Madhu reached the front of the train with the sons. The woman and a son died immediately. The other child fell away. He was admitted to the hospital, but he also succumbed to his injuries.
According to Kasim Abdi of DCP North Zone, the deceased woman was upset with the harassment of her in-laws. Her husband did not do any work, due to which she was also facing financial constraints. There were frequent fights at their house.
