Thursday, a 37 year old woman allegedly set in flames by two motorcycle borne assailants, died in the wee hours today at a government hospital, police said.
As per police report, yesterday on afternoon the assailants poured petrol on the woman and set her on fire while she was returning after appearing in a court in connection with the divorce petition she had filed.
The women took her last breath around 1 am today after suffering major injuries. Police said they were questioning her separated husband Mohanraj in connection with the case.
