Bengaluru: A woman who had been seeking shelter at a friend's house was raped in Bengaluru. Allegedly, the victim was raped by husband of her friend.
According to the report, the victim was staying at her friend's house in Peenya when the incident took place. Though the incident took place last year, it came to light only recently. The compliant has been lodged in Rajagopalnagar police station.

As per report, the victim is a resident of Kunigal taluk in Tumakuru. The victim was visiting the city because she had invested money in a private chitfund and wanted to withdraw the same. The victim decided to stay at her friend's house since it was late at night and she did not want to travel.
The Woman was staying at her friend's house which is situated in Rajagopalnagar. After the victim's friend left the house to go to work. However, her friend's husband sexually assaulted her. The accused even warned her of dire consequences and asked her to stay mum about the incident. However, victim approached the police and filed a complaint when she got pregnant,
