Sonbhadra: On the one hand, cases of corona infection are witnessing a spurt and on the other hand, crime cases are also coming up rapidly. The recent case that has come to light is from Sonbhadra district. In fact, the girl, who had gone to visit  temple with her fiaance on the hill of Dhartidad forest in Bijpur area, here has been allegedly gangraped by three youths. Police have arrested the three accused in the same case. Superintendent of Police Amarendra Prasad Singh informed about the entire incident last Sunday.

"On Saturday afternoon, a 20-year-old girl from a village in Babhani police station area had gone with her fiance to visit a temple at Motki Hill in Dhartidand forest of Bijpur police station area". At the same time, he said, "It is alleged that at the same time, three youths who had come to cut wood in the forest caught hold of the girl and her fiance and took her to a deserted place and gangraped the girl"

He further said that the girl's father gave a written complaint about the incident at Bijpur police station late in the night. Police have registered a case after receiving the complaint. In the case, he further informed that police have arrested the three accused Shyamlal and Munnilal, residents of Panika village and Angad Kevat, a resident of Dhartidad village, on the trail of the girl last Sunday. The Superintendent of Police says they inspected the spot and ordered strictest action against all the accused.
