On Monday night, a 30-year-old woman was supposedly abducted from a mall in Gurugram, New Delhi. According to the police officials, the woman has come to the mall for shopping, then after coming out she got kidnapped and was taken to a guesthouse in southwest Delhi’s Vasant Kunj. Five men in the guesthouse allegedly gang-raped her. All the five accused have been arrested.

According to TOI, the survivor victim went to Vasant Kunj police station with one of her friend and lodged a report of the matter. She came to the police station early today at 4:30 am. Southwest DCP Milind Dumbere hs confirmed that the incident took place on Monday night. He said that the case has been registered under IPC section 365 (abducting with purpose secretive and wrongfully to confine person) and 376D (punishment for gang rape).

DCP further said that the five accused of gang rape have been identified as Tejvir Singh, Gopal Prasad, Roopinder, Anshul and Ram Babu. All the five-man are native of Haryana and due to work, they were living in Delhi.

According to the survivor victim, she told the police that she had come out of the mall around 11 pm. While standing there she was looking for an auto when the five men approached her and offered her a lift. Hence, when she refused their offer, they dragged her into their car. After this, they took her to the guesthouse and allegedly raped her turn by turn for several hours. All the five men then left her in the room and bolted the door from outside. According to the reports, two of the accused of rape are cabbies. 

After some time, the girl's shouts were being heard by a cook. He then opened the bolted room and let her out. Meanwhile, one of the accused saw her running away he tried to stop her from fleeing. She then managed to get her hands on rod and hit the accused with it. She then ran out and called a friend who took her to Vasant Kunj police station.
