Lucknow: In the country's largest state Uttar Pradesh, the women's wing of the Congress demonstrated by playing a plate near the CM's residence in protest against the increasing cases of murder and rape of women and girls. Due to this sudden demonstration, the problems of the police-administration have increased. On this, the police immediately took them into custody and sent them to the Eco Garden.

This was the second demonstration in the last ten days under the leadership of Mamta Chaudhary, President of Women Congress Central Zone. Earlier, she protest near the Vidhan Bhavan. Even then she was taken into custody. On Monday, she again performed with about 25 activists.

Blaming the state government, she said that there were heartbreaking incidents in Hapur, Jaunpur and Jalaun. Women will not sit silent now. She will raise her voice on the road. Till the violence against women does not stop, the protest will continue. In the demonstration, along with Mamta Chaudhary, President of Central Zone Congress, Pratibha Pal, President of Southern Zone, Shehla Arhari, Director of East Zone and Preeti Tiwari, Director of West Zone were also involved. The leaders and activists of the Women Congress were released from custody at around 6 pm. The same has been done in the last few days due to increasing cases of crimes in the state, and women have raised their voice to stop this. Therefore, it is important to control them soon.
