Two times Women’s T20 challenge Champions, Supernovas prepares to take on title-less Velocity in the finals of 4th edition of Women’s T20 Challenge.

The match is scheduled at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium Pune, on 28th May, 2022. Live broadcast of the match will begin at 7:30 P.M. IST.  on Star Sports Network channels - Star Sports 1 HD, Star Sports Select 1 HD (Dugout), Star Sports Select 1 and Star Sports 1. The match will also be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar.

Supernovas captain Harmanpreet Kaur is in tremendous form with a high average of 58 in two match. She scored a 29 ball 37 in the first match against Trailblazers and followed it by blistering 51 ball 71 runs against Velocity in the second match.

Supernovas bowling department is headed by Pooja Vastrakar, who had been unplayable this season. The all rounder is the leading wicket-taker this season with a total tally of 5 wickets in two games.

For Velocity, Shefali Varma looks it great touch, she averages 40 in two matches with 80 runs under her belt. The 27 years-old Kiran Navgire also announced her introduction to Women T20 Challenge with a quick-fire blazing 34 ball 69 runs against Trailblazers, though in a losing cause.

Velocity: Shafali Verma, Laura Wolvaardt, Yastika Bhatia, Deepti Sharma (C), Sneh Rana, Kiran Navgire, Shivali Shinde (wk), Kate Cross, Radha Yadav, Ayabonga Khaka, Simran Bahadur.
