Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said that he won’t allow terrorists to operate from the country’s soil to carry out attacks on other countries.

 facing diplomatic pressure to act against terrorism Khan accused the previous governments of endorsing terrorism in the country, asserting that no action was taken against the banned individuals and outfits.

Addressing a public meeting in Tharparkar district of Sind, Pakistan PM  said that the National Action Plan (NAP) for countering terrorism and extremism was taken seriously after his government came to power.

While calling for peace with India, Khan warned Pakistan would retaliate in case of any aggression by the neighbouring country.

Pakistan PM said, “We want peace and not war. But no one should remain mistaken. Pakistan is awake. Any aggression or misadventure by India will receive a befitting reply. We are ready to fight till our last breath.”

The tension between India and Pakistan has been increased after a Pakistan-based terror organisation, Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) carried out a suicide attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on February 14, claiming lives of 40 jawans of Indian armed force. India, in a retaliatory action, carried out air strikes in Pakistan’s Balakot on February 26.
