Nagpur: Amidst the rising prices of petrol and diesel, petrol worth less than Rs 50 has been refused to be sold at a petrol pump in Nagpur, Maharashtra. A poster has also been pasted about it, on which it is clearly written that petrol will not be received below 50 rupees. Petrol pump owner Ravi Shankar Pardhi said about this decision that drivers ask for petrol of Rs 20-30 each and the machines that are there run very fast. When the employee picks up the nozzle, the petrol worth Rs 20-30 is completed as soon as he picks up, due to which people start fighting, so we have taken this decision to save electricity and reduce quarrels.
On the other hand, a customer who came to fill the car with oil said, "If petrol is not received below Rs 50, then how will our work be done?" Similarly, the price of petrol and diesel is increasing every day. It is worth mentioning that amid the volatility in the prices of crude oil at the international level, the increase in the prices of automobile fuel petrol and diesel in the national market is not taking the name of stopping.
In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, petrol has now reached Rs 120.51 per litre and diesel Rs 104.77 per litre. Apart from Mumbai, the price of petrol in Sriganganagar in Rajasthan and the Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh has crossed Rs.120 per litre. Let us know that due to the different rates of VAT levied on vehicle fuel at the state level, the price of petrol and diesel in cities is different.
