Amid lockdown and corona infection, about 500 workers have been trapped in Ambala, Haryana, waiting to move to Uttar Pradesh. Late night the Haryana government sent these workers through 18 roadways buses. Those who have been returned due to no NOC.

In his statement, Home Minister Anil Vij said that UP did not allow its own citizens to enter UP and the workers were returned from the UP border after waiting for several hours. Vij said that if the receiving states of these workers give NOC, then Haryana will send all workers to their states in just 4 days. He said that the difficulty in this matter is that the states are not ready to take the workers. When the workers are brought back, their patience also answers.

Vij said that, all the states should keep the laborers according to the instructions of the Center. Arrangements should be made for their food, health and living. The police force has been increased on all raw paved roads from Haryana to stop the workers coming from Punjab.
