The head of the World Bank, Jim Yong Kim stated, that the Swachh Bharat Rural Sanitation Project in India is a successful adaption of the similar program which was launched in Egypt, while addressing the Plenary session of the World Bank Group in Washington, US.
"Knowledge is flowing across the organisation and to our client countries, driving creativity and innovation" Kim said. He also added that all these actions were successful because the World bank us able to spread knowledge and experience across countries.
India was also discussed in the terms of roadways transportation and how the present situations are a reason for low economic growth in the country.
