On Friday, the World Bank has given support to India in the ongoing war with Kovid-19 and approved a social protection package of one billion dollars i.e. 7500 crores. The World Bank has given this approval in view of the continuous efforts of the Government of India for poor and epidemic-sensitive families.

According to the Ministry of Health regarding this matter, till 8 am on May 15, the number of active cases of Kovid-19 infection across the country has gone up to 51401 while the number of people recovering from this is 27919. The death toll due to this infection is 2649 across the country.

On the other hand, the number of corona patients in India has reached close to China. There is a continuous increase in the number of patients infected with the corona virus across the country. In the last 24 hours, 3967 new cases of corona have been reported in the country while 100 people have died. According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of corona positive cases across the country has risen to 81,970, out of which 51,401 are active, 27,920 people have become healthy or have been discharged from hospital and 2649 people died.
