LONDON: Defending champions Australia will be looking to reach the semi-finals on Thursday when they are on the field for the World Cup against Bangladesh. The Aaron Finch-led team has lost only one of the five matches to India so far. They are in the top four in the table.

Australia, however, will be a contender in the match, but their path to Shakib, who is in superb form, is not easy. However, Australian coach Justin Langer is confident that his team will deal well with Shakib but not the entire Bangladeshi team. He said there is no doubt that Shakib is the world's best all-rounder and left-handed spinner

At the same time, the Aussies are on the tarmac of Finch and David Warner. Finch has scored 343 runs with a century. He is third among the top five batsmen. Warner, on the other hand, scored 281 runs for the loss of one century and two half-centuries. Former captain Smith has also found a rhythm. Mitchell Starc (13 wickets) and Pat Cummins (11 wickets) are also in full color in the bowling.
