LONDON: The 25th World Cup 2019 match between New Zealand and South Africa was played in Birmingham on Wednesday. Skipper Kane Williamson (103*) and Colin de Grandholm (60) helped New Zealand beat South Africa by 4 wickets in a thrilling match. Chasing a target of 241 runs, New Zealand were bundled out for 80 runs in their first innings. But the crucial partnership of 91 runs by captain Williamson and De Grandholm helped New Zealand win the match in the last over.

For South Africa, Chris Morris took a maximum of 3 wickets. Chasing the target, the New Zealand team's start was not good. The Kiwi team suffered the first setback as Colin Monroe (9) scored just 12 runs. Fast bowler Kagiso Rabada sent him to the pavilion taking a catch on his own ball.
