World Economic Forum invites Telangana government to annual meeting

HYDERABAD: MAUD and IT Minister KT Rama Rao will be visiting Switzerland in January to attend the annual meeting. The World Economic Forum has invited the Government of Telangana to participate in the annual meeting to be held in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland from 17-21 January 2022. The theme of which is Working Together, Restoring Trust. The meeting will focus on accelerating stakeholder capitalism, harnessing the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and ensuring a more inclusive future of work.

The role of public-private collaboration will be critical in rebuilding trust and shaping a more sustainable future. Appreciating the work of Telangana government, WEF President Borge Brende said, "Your leadership and commitment to transform Telangana into a major technology powerhouse.

As India emerges from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, innovation and its ability to adapt quickly to emerging technologies will be critical for a sustainable economic recovery. In a world full of uncertainty and stress, personal communication is more important than ever. Leaders have an obligation to work together and rebuild trust, enhance global cooperation, and work towards sustainable, bold solutions."
