Every year World Food Day is celebrated all over the world. It is celebrated every year on 16th October. This was the day when the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations was established in 1945. It is said that the day was organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) member nations. Nowadays it is also known as Food Engineering Day. In this way, apart from the Food and Agriculture Organization, other international organizations of the world such as the World Food Program and the International Fund also help in this event for the development of agriculture and every year a theme is selected for the event of World Food Day.
