Hollywood's famous filmmaker and Oscar winner Marshall Curry feels that the world is going through a difficult time. He received an Oscar for 'The Neighbors Window' this year. It is a short film, which he wrote and directed. He was previously nominated for the Academy Award three times for the documentary film, 'Street Fight', 'If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front' and 'A Night at the Garden'.

Asked whether 'The Neighbors Window', which gives a message of sympathy to neighbors, echoes the political and social sentiments around the world? To this, Curry told the media, "This is a difficult phase going on in America and the world right now. People are being killed because of leaders who wanted us to have different religions or skin colors or lifestyles. As we fight amongst ourselves." He further said, "So I hope that as a small part, the film will teach people to be at ease with each other and make it feel like everyone is going through some problem. "

'The Neighbors Window', which is available for viewing on shorts TV in India, shows the story of a middle-aged woman who has young children. The short films are about watching sexual memories and nostalgia and Curry says that the theme was created in the initial concept for the film.
