Geneva: 2 veteran Indian scientists belonging to the World Health Organization (WHO) have said that now that India is going to run the world's largest and ambitious vaccination campaign against Corona, during this time it should develop the immunity of the entire population. For the sake of fast delivery of the vaccine, the challenge will be faced.

Saumya Swaminathan, chief scientist at WHO and consultant Hamsadwani Kugantham, said that this challenge will not only be in front of India, but also in the governments of all the countries of the world who are going to start immunizing their population to combat the epidemic. India's drug regulator on Sunday approved limited emergency use of Oxford's Corona vaccine 'Covishield' and Bharat Biotech's 'Covaxin'.

WHO scientists said clinical trials are currently underway for about 45 potential vaccines, and 156 potential vaccines are undergoing clinical trials.
