Bhopal: Today is World No Tobacco Day on 31st May. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted on the occasion. In a tweet, State Chief Minister Shivraj wrote, "I had read somewhere that 10 lakh people in India give up cigarettes, tobacco every year. Because they don't survive to do so! Don't consume tobacco from today,'' your pledge on #WorldNoTobaccoDay will be the biggest gift for me and your family. ''

Apart from him, in a message to the people of the state on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, the state Health Minister Dr Prabhuram Choudhary said, "31st May is celebrated every year as World No Tobacco Day. Consumption of tobacco has physical and mental ill effects in the life of a person for which policies relating to sensitization of the common man and prevention of tobacco use should be strictly followed. A total of 50 in Madhya Pradesh. 20% male and 17. 30 per cent of women consume tobacco."
Recently, The Health Minister, Dr. Choudhary said that the baby is more likely to have ill effects due to smoking or non-smoking tobacco during pregnancy. He also said, "Which has a strong chance of developing asthma, respiratory tract infections and TUBERCULOSIs, etc. Let us also tell you that World No Tobacco Day is observed worldwide on 31st May every year to prevent people from consuming tobacco and to make them aware of the harm caused by it." In fact, a theme is prepared every year for World No Tobacco Day and programmes are organized accordingly. Let me tell you that the theme for this year, 2021, is 'Commit to Quit'.
