Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has not tasted victory yet in the cureent season of the IPL. Virat Kohli Led team will horns Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday (March 31). In the last match against Mumbai Indians, RCB side were on course for a win before MI's prime bowler Jasprit Bumrah changed the complexion of the match with a brilliant death-over spell. While Parthiv Patel remained positive ahead of RCB's next encounter versus he praised Bumrah and called him 'world number one bowler'.

In a pre-match confernece, Parthiv told reporters that "The way Bumrah bowled in the last game, he hardly gave anything. Even AB (de Villiers) struggled a bit against Bumrah. We won't look too much into that. I thought we were up against the world number one bowler.

The pacer Bumrah had an injury scare during MI's opening tie versus Delhi Capitals (DC) on March 24. He fell on the ground during his final over and gave nightmares to Indian cricket team fans. However, pacer turned up the other night versus RCB and showed his value in the end overs when the RCB chase got stiffer. The 25-year-old conceded few boundaries to Kohli but removed him with a peach of short delivery. In addition, Bumrah came to his very own during the last few overs. Chasing 188, RCB needed 41 off 24 balls with AB de Villiers in the middle. In the match, he returned with figures of 3 for 20 which included the scalps of Kohli, Shimron Hetymer and Colin de Grandhomme.
Parthiv, however, didn't rule out Bumrah's skills but stated that RCB are well past the defeat to MI and looking forward to the faceoff versus SRH.
