For many years, we have been hearing 'Do Boond Zindagi Ke' and it has been proved all over the world how important two drops of polio are to protect human health from a serious disease. Therefore, 'World Polio Day' is celebrated all over the world on 24th October every year. Today, on this day, we are going to tell you important things related to this...

Purpose of World Polio Day:-
There is a special goal behind this world polio day celebrated globally every year. In fact, the day is celebrated with the objective of making people aware of polio disease.

Polio and India's status:-
Let me tell you that when it comes to India, not a single polio case has been reported in India since 2014. It was in 2014 that the World Health Organization declared India polio-free and conveyed its best wishes to the then Union Health Minister, Dr Harsh Vardhan. On the other hand, the central government's drive against corona infection in the country now seems to be paying off. In that case, we hope to win this corona war also.

In the same country, 100 crore corona vaccine doses have been crossed. PM Modi in his address to the nation expressed his gratitude to the people and health workers of the country for this. PM Modi also mentioned all the problems faced by the Corona vaccine campaign. The polio campaign in India has been going on for the last several decades and all the Governments of India have fought a long battle against it. Similarly, we will beat corona.
