World Vegetarianism Day is celebrated all over the world on 1st October every year. It is the foundation day of the North American Vegetarian Society in 1977 and was supported by the International Vegetarian Association in 1978 to "promote happiness, compassion and life-enhancement fears" by the International Vegetarian Association, which brings awareness about the moral, environmental, health and human benefits of the vegetarian lifestyle.

The same consists mainly of two types of food, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. A human body has the ability to digest both kinds of food. Some people believe that non-vegetarian food receives more nutrients. But let's tell you that the ingredients in non-vegetarian food that are found in meat are found in vegetables in vegetarian food. Vegetarian food is soon cooked instead of non-vegetarian food.

At the same time, the World Vegetarian Day was celebrated by the UK Vegan Society for the first time in the World Vegetarian Day, October 1, 1977. The Vegetarian Society was established in the year 1944. On the 50 anniversary, the President of the Vegetarian Society announced the celebration of vegetarian day every year with the aim of memorializing the first date of October and promoting vegetarian diet among the people. One of the reasons for celebrating the vegetarian day was discrimination. Because, at that moment, the vegans were not allowed to consume dairy products. In protest, they stopped consuming eggs and then became a vegetarian movement in 1951. Who did not participate in the exploitation of animals. Since then, on 1st October every year, awareness campaigns are conducted to encourage vegetarianism all over the world. Therefore, it is important that we respect it.
