The teams that have had the chance to qualify directly for the T20 World Cup include India, Pakistan, England, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies and Afghanistan besides host Australia. For your information, the host team qualifies directly in any World Cup, while the rest of the teams participate in the World Cup based on ranking and winning qualifiers.

As per the schedule for the Men's T20 World Cup 2020, released recently by the International Cricket Council. the World Cup will begin on October 18 in Australia, which will last for about a month. Team India will play their first match of the World Cup against South Africa on October 24.
