Many types of poison exist in the world. You must have heard about cyanide, which is considered a very dangerous poison. Similarly, there is another dangerous poison, which is called polonium 210. However, very few people know about it. It is also believed that only one gram of it can put thousands of people to death. Because of this, it would not be wrong to call it the world's most dangerous poison.

Polonium 210 is a radioactive element, due to which the radiation released can rapidly destroy the internal organs of the human body as well as the DNA and immune system. Finding its presence in a dead body is also a very difficult task. The investigation of this poison is not possible in India. Polonium-210 was discovered in 1898 by the famous physicist and chemist Marie Curie. He also received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the Isolation of Pure Radium in the field of chemistry. In addition, he also received the Nobel Prize in Physics for his discovery of radioactivity. Although polonium was first named Radium F, later it was changed.

According to scientists, polonium-210, if small particles of salt enter the human body, then the person can die in an instant. It is very difficult to identify because if it is mixed in food, its taste is not known. It is said that the first victim of polonium poison was Irene Juliet Curie, daughter of explorer Marie Curie, who ate a small particle of it. Due to this, she died immediately. Apart from this, it is believed that Yasir Arafat, the Palestinian leader who is considered to be Israel's biggest enemy, also died from this poison. His body was exhumed several years after his burial to investigate this. Scientists in Switzerland claimed that radioactive polonium-210 was found in the remains of their bodies.
