Although Lord Vishnu's temples and idols are present in almost every corner of India, but you will be surprised to know that the world's tallest Lord Vishnu statue is not in India. Rather it is in a Muslim country. Yes, the name of this country is Indonesia. This statue is so huge and at such a height that you will be surprised to see it. Apart from this, another special thing is that billions of rupees were spent to build this idol. This statue of Lord Vishnu is about 122 feet high and 64 feet wide. It is made of copper and brass. It has not taken 2-4 years to make it, but about 26 years. In the year 2018, this idol was completely completed. Now people come from all over the world to see it and see God.

Actually, the story of the making of this idol is also very interesting. It is also said that in 1979, the sculptor Bappa Neuman Nuarta, who lived in Indonesia, dreamed of making a giant statue. A statue that has not been made in the world till date. One such idol, which the viewer simply keeps looking at. It is also believed that a company was also formed in the year 1980, under whose supervision all the work of sculpting would be done. However, what should be the structure of the idol and where will the money spent on it come from, many years have passed in thinking all this. Eventually, after long planning, the work of sculpting started in the year 1994. Many governments of Indonesia helped to build it. However, due to lack of budget, the work was stopped. The work of making the idol was stopped from 2007 to 2013, but after that when its work started again, then it stopped only after it was completed.

Let us tell you that the sculptor Bappa Neuman Nuarta, who built this huge statue located in Ungasan on the island of Bali, was also honored in India. He was awarded the Padma Shri award by President Ramnath Kovind. Today the fame of this temple had spread around the world. Hindu devotees arrive here in large numbers to see the world's tallest statue of Lord Vishnu.
