New Delhi: Team India wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha was again found to be infected with corona. Saha has been found to be covid-19 positive on May 4. IPL 2021 was indefinitely postponed after some players, including Saha, were found to be infected with corona. This is a big blow for India ahead of the final of the World Test Championships (WTC).

Saha has recently been selected in the 20-member Team India for the WTC final and the five-Test series on the tour of England. If Saha is not found negative in the corona test before May 25, he will not get a chance to tour England. Indian players have to enter a bio-bubble at a Hotel in Mumbai for a week before going on a tour of England. BCCI has clearly stated that each player must have corona negative before entering the bio-bubble.

Two days ago, Saha said he is recovering from corona infection. He said his family was extremely scared after being found positive. Saha said he was tested twice after complaining of cold and pain during the IPL. Although his test report in the first two tests came negative, he was tested on one side for the third time when he started having a fever. They were then confirmed to be corona virus positive.
