Amit Chaudhuri, the eminent writer and his daughter has faced the questions by Kolkata Police at the headquarter at Lal Bazar on relation with the death of Aabesh Dasgupta after being allegedly hit by a broken alcohol bottle.

As per the official said, “Seven other persons, who were present at the time of the incident at the Sunny Park complex, were also questioned”

Sources said, “the sleuths probing the matter were trying to match versions of these seven persons with those 14 grilled in connection with the mishap yesterday”

Kolkata  police has also scrutinized the WhatsApp messages of Aabesh and persons in other social networking sites to get a clear idea about the boy's activity.

Officer of the Force said that "it was still inconclusive and may require some more time to have a final one".

Aabesh, a class XI student, was killed last Saturday when a youth accompanying him to the birthday party hit him with glass shards throughout a squabble in the car parking lot of the writer's residence at expensive Ballygunge.
