There is a lot of disappointing news for the WWE fans present all over the world including in India. Two-time WWE champion Paige has announced his retirement. Paige will leave WWE when the contract expires on July 7. Paige, 29, reported this through Twitter.

Paige tweeted: "July 7th will be my last day with WWE. I am very grateful and admire the opportunities that the company has given me. I will always admire the company that gave an opportunity to an 18-year-old British yellow emo girl. She doesn't look like your average diva. She gave me the opportunity of a lifetime and made me feel like a superstar.''

She further wrote, "I know my neck injury knocked me out of the ring. In such a situation, it was very difficult to continue the journey ahead. Thank you to the WWE Universe. I've never seen passionate fans like you guys yet. I hope you stay on this journey with me. I'm not saying I'll never be in the ring. That day will definitely come again! The return can happen anywhere. Paige last competed inside the WWE ring on 27 December 2017 in a live event, where she suffered an injury in a six-woman tag match. Paige has not been an active wrestler for a long time, but she is very active on social media. Paige faced a lot of problems in her professional and personal life.
