Xiaomi 13's battery performance will surpass that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max

New Delhi: Xiaomi CEO and founder, Lei Jun, claims that the Xiaomi 13 will have a longer battery life than Apple's current flagship device, the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

On December 1, the Chinese smartphone maker will hold an event to introduce its Xiaomi 13 flagship smartphone series and wearables.

The company has been teasing products ahead of the launch event, giving customers an idea of ​​what to expect from the upcoming flagship smartphones.

Xiaomi CEO and founder Lei Jun claimed in a post on Weibo that the battery life of the Xiaomi 13 could be longer than that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

As per reports, the DOU test aims to represent the battery life of the device during an average day of usage. The iPhone 14 Pro Max scored 1.28 on the battery life test, while the upcoming Xiaomi 13 flagship device received a score of 1.37. A 4,500mAh battery pack is expected to be given with the Xiaomi 13. Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with 4,323mAh battery backup.

The executive emphasized that for him the thickness and grip of the upcoming flagship smartphone are more important than its battery capacity.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro, which is expected to debut alongside the Xiaomi 13, was said to pack a 4,800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, as per a tip received last month. As per the tip, the phone could also come with a Surge P2 chip to control the charging rates.
