Following the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro smartphones, Xiaomi released the first Windows-based notebook of the Redmi series. It received a quite logical name, which also speaks about the size of its screen - RedmiBook 14. This model has a 14-inch FHD display with a brightness of up to 250 nits and a metal body in the style of Mi Notebook notebooks. Distinguished RedmiBook except for the keyboard with black keys.

Inside installed an Intel Core processor of the eighth generation. This may be i5-8265U or i7-8265U depending on the version. In both cases, there is an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics card. The amount of RAM is 8 GB (DDR4, 2400 MHz), and the internal memory - 256 or 512 GB (SSD).

Battery - 46 Wh The manufacturer promises up to 10 hours of battery life.

There are also two speakers with DTS sound support. Available connectors include: 2 × USB 3.0, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm and micro HDMI. USB Type-C ports probably had to be sacrificed to reduce the total cost of the laptop.

The shell thickness is 17.95 mm with a total weight of 1.5 kg, which makes it quite compact and mobile.

The most affordable version of the RedmiBook 14 with an Intel Core i5 processor and 256 GB of memory costs 3,999 yuan, while the version with the Core i7 and 512GB SSD is estimated at 4,999 yuan.
