Xiaomi is all set to launch the affordable Redmi 3S Smartphone in the Indian market. The Chinese tech major has made it official that the new Redmi variant is coming to Indian Territory on Wednesday, August 3.

The budget Android Smartphone was first launched in China back in June, and India is the first overseas market to get the handset after China.

This Smartphone will be available in three different colors- Dark Grey, Silver, and Gold colors. And it is believed that Redmi 3s will be launched in India with the price of Rs. 7,500 to Rs. 8,500.

The Redmi 3S,a successor to the Redmi 2 and Redmi 2 Prime ,was first released in China and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Processor coupled with 2GB Ram.

The affordable Smartphone further features a 5-inch HD display, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera, 4100 mAh battery, and 16 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128 GB.

It runs Xiaomi's MIUI 7.0 based on the older Android 5.1 Lollipop. When released internationally, the phone was made available in two memory configurations 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage. The phone supports dual SIM and is 4G enabled.
