Xiaomi has launched its new smartphone Redmi 3S. The device will be available for sale in China from 16th June. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S comes in two variants - 2GB RAM with 16GB internal memory and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal memory.

The 2GB variant is priced at 699 Yuan approximately Rs 7,127 while the 3GB variant will cost you 899 Yuan approximately Rs 9,162.

The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Redmi 3S packs an all-new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.1GHz clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU.

The hybrid dual SIM based smartphone runs on Android Lollipop based MIUI 7 operating and has a 4100 mAh battery.

It has full metal unibody design and features a fingerprint sensor located at the back. The smartphone supports expandable storage expandable storage via microSD card up to 128GB.

It has a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture that can focus on just 0.1 seconds. For selfies, the Redmi 3S is equipped with a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture that can record videos at 1080p resolution.

It is powered by 4,100mAh non-removable battery that can easily last more than a day of usage.

Connectivity options on the handset include 4G, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Micro-USB.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S will be available in grey, silver, and gold colours.
