Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi's Android One OS-based device Mi A3 is going to be launched in India today. The Android One variant will be launched with a 48-megapixel primary sensor triple camera setup, Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, up to 6 GB RAM, 32-megapixel selfie camera, waterdrop style notch and in-display fingerprint sensor. The launch event in India will begin at 12 noon, where information on device price and market availability will be revealed. The phone is being teased on e-commerce site Amazon, so it may be sold on Amazon.
In its statement, Xiaomi confirmed that the launch event of the Mi A3 will begin at 12 noon in New Delhi. The company will also live stream this event on the official site. Xiaomi is also registering on the device's dedicated page, and the countdown to the event start time is also running on the live stream window. Mi A3 will also be available on Xiaomi's official online store Mi.com in addition to Amazon.
The company launched the device in Spain last month if it's a potential price tag. The 64 GB storage variant is priced at 249 Euro (around Rs. 19,200). The 128 GB storage variant is priced at 279 Euros (around Rs 21,500). In India too, the device can be launched in the same price range. In Spain, the phone was launched in 'Not Just Blue', 'More Day White' and 'Kind of Grey' color options. In India too, the color options can be found by buyers. The smartphone features a 6.08-inch HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 720x1520 pixels. The display has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is protection on top of the phone. The in-display fingerprint sensor comes with a 4,030mAh battery for backup. The Mi A3 features two storage options 64GB and 128GB with 4GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi A3 with Android One OS uses the Snapdragon 665 processor.
The company has introduced a triple rear camera setup in the phone for customer convenience, with the F/C. The 48 MP primary sensor with 1.79 aperture, 8 MP secondary sensor with a wide-angle lens and 2 MP camera sensor for point sensing are provided. The smartphone gets a 32-megapixel front camera. Also in the phone for connectivity is 4G VoLTE, GPS/GPS. Options like A-GPS, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.5 mm headphones jack are also available.
