Redmi, the sub-brand of Chinese popular smartphone maker Xiaomi, recently launched the Redmi 8A Dual smartphone in the low budget range in the Indian market. The company has increased the price of its popular and top sale smartphone Redmi Note 8. Although the company did not make any official announcement for this, but with the new price, this smartphone has been listed on the company's official website Mi.com and e-commerce Amazon.

Xiaomi has increased the price of the base variant of Redmi Note 8. It has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory. Till now this smartphone was available for a price of Rs 9,999. Now it has been listed with a price of Rs 10,499 i.e. the price of the phone has been increased by Rs 500. However the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model is still available for Rs 12,999. Only 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model of the phone is available on Amazon, whose price was not changed.

For the convenience of customers, the company has made a 6.39 inch full HD + display with Waterdrop Notch in Redmi Note 8. Its screen resolution is 2,340 × 1,080 pixels and it is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This phone works on the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and has Adreno 610 GPU for excellent graphics quality. Users can also increase the storage available in the phone by using a microSD card.
