Chinese smartphone maker has already launched The Xiaomi Redmi 7 r in India and while the Xiaomi Redmi 7 is based on the same design theme of the more premium ‘Note’ series from the company.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 first sale in India was scheduled on April 29 and as expected the smartphone went out of stock within seconds. The Xiaomi Redmi 7 next sale has been scheduled for May 3 at 3 pm via Amazon India, Mi Home stores and Mi.com. As part of the launch offers on Xiaomi Redmi 7, Reliance Jio users can avail the double data benefit as well as Rs. 2400 worth of cashback on purchase of the Xiaomi Redmi 7 smartphone on a couple of Jio prepaid recharges.

Talking about the key specifications of  Xiaomi Redmi 7 , it includes an 8-megapixel AI selfie camera, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Aura Smoke design, Splash resistant (P2i nano-coating), Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor, 4000mAh battery and more. The smartphone has been made available in Lunar Red, Comet Blue and Eclipse Black colour options.

Other features of the Xiaomi Redmi 7 includes a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Splash resistant (P2i nano-coating), 3.5mm audio jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS + GLONASS and a 4000mAh battery.

As far as price is concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 7 price in India starts at Rs. 7,999 for the base 2GB RAM/32GB storage version, while the 3GB RAM/32GB inbuilt storage version of the Xiaomi Redmi 7 is priced at Rs. 8,999.
