Chinese smartphone company’s popular smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Go has been launched in India as one of the cheapest smartphones ever launched from the company in the country and while the smartphone is also the first smartphone from the Chinese maker to run Android Go edition. The Xiaomi Redmi Go price in India starts at Rs. 4,499 .The device went on sale for the first time in India on March 22 and today i.e. March 25, buyers will once again have a chance to grab the Xiaomi Redmi Go as it will be going on sale once again at 2 pm through Flipkart, Mi Homes and Mi.com.

As part of the launch offers, Xiaomi Redmi Go buyers will be able to avail Rs. 2,200 cashback and 100GB additional data from Reliance Jio.

Talking about specifications, The Xiaomi Redmi Go comes with a 5-inch HD  display offering 16:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor which is clocked at 1.4GHz and comes coupled with Adreno 308 GPU for graphics. The Xiaomi Redmi Go further features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 128GB with microSD card.

 While the Xiaomi Redmi Go runs Android 8.1 (Oreo Go Edition), For options, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED Flash and 1.12μm pixel size while at the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1.12μm pixel size.
