Chienese smartphone company Xiaomi’s smartphone Xiaomi Redmi X is in news for quite some time now. Now, according to the latest report, the Xiaomi Redmi X has now been confirmed to launch with a different name altogether.
As per the report, the smartphone is expected to launch on May 14, Redmi GM Lu Weibing has just confirmed via Weibo that Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship Redmi X will be launched with a much better name.

This development comes after Realme announced that the company will also be launching its new premium smartphone with pop-up selfie camera and the device will be called the Realme X.

Talking about features, It was recently reported that the flagship Redmi phone will feature a 6.39-inch full HD+ display and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. The 855 chipset will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage while for optics, the premium Redmi phone is expected to feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera. At the rear, there is expected to be a triple camera module consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens and a 13-megapixel camera.
